Frosty medium steel and light olive. The surfaces are satiny and this cent has excellent eye appeal. Sharply struck with full radial lines in all the stats. Looks choice but there is a very light scuff of microscopic diagonal hairlines on the cheek. Otherwise this cent is flawless. The best identifying mark is a tiny spot of lighter tan toning over the right side of the 5. LDS with a fine die crack from the dentils over star 3 to the forelock. The die rust present in the earlier die state has been polished off the die. A beautiful cent with solid mint state eye appeal. Graded AU55 net AU50 by Noyes, his photo #21242. Del Bland says MS60. Our grade is AU58. Comes with a very nice provenance that includes some of the heavyweights among large cent collectors. The attribution and Great Pacific Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS Gold Shield label.
