Lustrous medium steel and light olive brown. The surfaces are satiny and this cent has superb eye appeal. Looks choice mint state but there is a hint of rub on the very highest points of the devices. The only marks, and they are trivial, are a very light hairline scratch from the base of the first 1 into the field under the bust tip and a puff of slightly darker toning just right of the D in UNITED. M-LDS, Breen state V, with narrow rim breaks at stars 2 & 4. Called AU55 net AU50 and tied for CC#16 in the Noyes census, his photo #39239. Not seen by Bland. Our grade is AU55. A choice, lustrous 1811 cent. The attribution and Nancy and Bryan Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS Gold Shield label.
