Beautiful bluish steel and olive with some lighter brown in protected areas on the reverse. The fields are reflective and covered with extremely fine die polishing lines. The stars and devices are as sharp as they ever get and this piece has great eye appeal. Just a couple trivial defects including a spot of brown toning on the bust and another at the dentil tips over star 8. Neither mark catches your eye. A microscopic line from the nose to star 3 is from the die and is found on many examples of the variety. A really nice example of this proof-only variety. Our grade is Proof-63+.
