Frosty light steel brown with generous traces of mint red remaining visible, especially on the obverse. The surfaces are satiny and this cent has excellent eye appeal. Just a few tiny marks including a tick hidden in the hair left of the top of the ear and a tiny piece of dark green verdigris on the left side of the first S in STATES. LDS, die state d, with very narrow rim cud breaks at star 3 and stars 10-11. Our grade is MS60+. The attribution and Twin Leaf Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label. 406040.65/33359021 Ex McCawley & Grellman Auctions/Superior 6/5/2000:396-W. M. "Jack" Wadlington (The Twin Leaf Collection), Stack's Bowers 3/30/2016:11214 (includes the Wadlington collection notes and the Superior lot ticket)
