Lustrous light to medium brown with subtle overtones of light bluish steel. Traces of mint red remain on both sides, especially on the obverse, and this cent has excellent eye appeal. The only marks are a thin streak of darker toning left of star 12 and a spot of very fine carbon nestled between star 4 and the dentils. M-LDS, die state c early. A single point shows from the main curl over the tip of the inner curl and the fields are smooth from a fresh die polishing. Our grade is MS60+. The attribution and Twin Leaf Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label. 46832.65/81448460 Ex J. R. Grellman Collection 6/1992-W. M. "Jack" Wadlington (The Twin Leaf Collection), Stack's Bowers 11/3/2016:1210 (includes the Grellman collection envelope)
