Lustrous light steel brown with subtle overtones of light bluish steel. Satiny with great eye appeal but there are some contact marks on the obverse. The notable marks are a shiny scuff under star 12, a lighter one right of star13, a dull dent on the right side of star 1, and other light marks on the cheek and neck. The reverse is choice. MDS, die state b early. The die lines right of the main curl are mostly gone but some remain visible. The dashes under the 8 are strong. Our grade is MS60. The attribution and Twin Leaf Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label. 406021.64+/84715148 Ex J. R. Frankenfield, McCawley & Grellman Auctions/Superior 2/17/2001:1775-W. M.
