Frosty mint red fading to olive and steel brown with at least a third of the original bright mint red remaining visible. Just a few trivial marks from flawless. The notable marks are a spot of darker toning (not carbon) below the 5 and a faint hairline scratch in the field close off the end of the nose to star 4. Sharply struck EDS, die state a. The fine die lines at the throat are crisp and the top of the stray 1 punched two times into the bust is clear. Our grade is MS63+, CC#2 for the variety in the Grellman census. The attribution is noted on the PCGS label.
