1852 N-18 R3 MS64Frosty mint red with blue steel toning on the devices, at least a third of the mint color remaining. A tiny, very light curved struck-through line under star 13 is the only notable defect, as struck. The reverse is flawless and this cent has great eye appeal. Sharply struck E-MDS, die state a. The dash at the dentils under the upright of the 1 is clear (most likely part of a misplaced 1), and a similar dash shows at a dentil tip under the 8. Finest known of the variety by a small margin in the Grellman census. Removed from a PCGS holder graded MS64RB (PCGS label #1899.64/60023243 included).Certificate Number: Pedigree: Ex Denis W.
