Frosty golden tan and light steel brown with faded red covering at least 25% of the planchet. The only marks are a small spot of darker steel toning low on the neck and traces of an old fingerprint at star 1. Nicely struck EDS, die state b early. The die lapping lines at the date and star 13 are weak but still visible and there is a small lump on the bottom edge of the T in CENT. Our grade is MS62, CC#3 for the variety with only 4 confirmed mint state examples listed in the Grellman census. 1893.64/26560593 Ex Stack's 10/20/1999:239-Chris McCawley 12/1999-R. S.
