1850 N-3 R1 AU58Glossy light chocolate and steel brown with mint frost covering the fields and protected areas. Looks mint state but there is a hint of rub on the highest points of the devices. Attractive with microscopic marks including a few ticks on the jaw and in the field before the neck. A barely visible hairline close under the chin can help identify this cent. LDS, die state c. The fields are flowlined and the line inside the E in CENT is gone. Removed from a PCGS holder graded MS62 Brown (PCGS label #405866.62/14615127 included, and it shows the attribution). Comes with a nice provenance.Certificate Number: Pedigree: Ex Willard C. Blaisdell (via Del Bland) 9/1976-R. E. "Ted" Naftzger, Jr. (via William C. Noyes)-Fred H. Borcherdt Collection
