Frosty light steel brown with peeps of faded mint red on the obverse, 15% of the red remaining on the reverse. The only mark, and it is very faint, is a fine hairline from just left of the earlobe down to the middle curl on the neck. E-MDS, die state b, with a fine die crack from the leaf tip under ES through OF to the dentils and a faint crack through the top of MER. The die lines at UNI are sharp. Sharply struck with excellent eye appeal. Our grade is MS62, tied for CC#8 in the Grellman census. 1886.64+/26530478 Ex Larry Whitlow 1/1990-R. E. Naftzger, Jr., 1/1990 (via J. R. Grellman)-R. S.
