Lustrous mint state with mellowed mint red covering nearly half of the planchet. The only mark is a puff of darker bluish steel toning off the tip of the coronet. The toning looks original to us, just mellowed down from its original brilliance. MDS, die state b, with a lump on the lower edge of the curl above the left side of the second 8. Our grade is MS60+, CC#8 in the Grellman census. Comes with a nice provenance that includes some of the "old-timers" in EAC.
