Date: 1847Attractive light to medium reddish chocolate brown. Sharp and attractive, just light wear on the highpoints and traces of greenish dirt in protected areas on the reverse (could use a bath). The only notable mark is a fine diagonal scratch on the bottom of the neck. MDS, die state b, with a tiny lump on the upper edge of the wreath ribbon but before the large cud break on the rim below the wreath ribbon. The repunching under the 1 is bold. Our grade is EF40. The attribution and COL Ellsworth Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label.
