Glossy light olive and medium brown with 5% of the mint red remaining, mostly on the reverse. Frosty luster covers the fields on both sides and this cent has very nice eye appeal. The only mark marks worthy of mention are a thin nearly horizontal nick on the throat near the jawbone, a light scuff at BE into the hair below, and a spot of slightly darker toning at the berry over the N in ONE. M-LDS, die state c, with a thin but clearly defined rim cud break extending from the upper part of star 3 to just below the bottom of star 4. Called MS61 and tied for CC#3 in the Noyes census, his photo #31566. Tied for CC#6 in the Grellman census. Removed from a PCGS holder graded MS65BN (PCGS label #405788.65/18900085 included, and it shows the attribution and Naftzger Collection provenance).Ex Henry C. Hines 10/28/1949-Willard C.
