Lustrous mint red fading to steel brown with at least half of the planchet showing frosty mint red color. Very attractive with a few small marks including some ticks on the chin, more on the date, and a spot of darker bluish steel toning at ER in AMERICA. The ticks at the date are the only ones that catch your eye. EDS but not quite the earliest. Only a couple of the vertical lines over the E in CENT remain visible and there is a small but clearly defined rim cud left of the lower point of star 3. The Colon Center Dot feature is clearly visible on the reverse. A very nice example of the variety, certainly among the finest known. Our grade is MS63. The attribution is noted on the PCGS label.
