Superb lustrous light olive with mint red with at least 15% of the planchet showing mint red. The surfaces are satiny and nearly flawless, and this cent has great eye appeal. The only marks are a microscopic speck of carbon hidden in the hair right of the ear lobe and a thin scuff nestled between the end of the wreath stem and the leaves above. Neither mark is significant or visible to the unaided eye. MDS with fine flowlines in the fields but the dentils are still complete around both sides. The reverse die is doubled on this variety (not machine doubling, a real doubled die), and the doubling shows clearest on the left side of the wreath. A really nice cent. Our grade is MS63+. The attribution and Nancy & Bryan Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label.
