Lustrous olive and steel brown with about 20% of the planchet showing mint red, mostly on the obverse. Frosty and attractive showing only a few trivial marks. The notable marks are a few thin, very light abrasions in the field before the face, a thin horizontal nick on the chin, a tiny planchet chip in the field right of the inner curl, and a very light scratch at the right top of the C in CENT. E-MDS. The reverse is lightly flowlined but the die scratch over the F in OF is strong. Our grade is MS62. A nice cent that comes with a very nice provenance. The attribution and COL Ellsworth Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS Gold Shield label.
