Glossy steel brown with frosty light brown and tan toning in the protected areas. The surfaces are smooth with only a few minor marks, including a thin nick on the chin, a couple tiny nicks between stars 5 & 6, and a small spot of darker steel toning at the dentils over the second T in STATES. MDS. The repunching on the right bottom of the C in AMERICA is gone but there is no crumbling in the dentils under star 1 and the rim cud breaks over AMER have not formed. A clear double profile reaches from the tip of the coronet down to the chin, and the reverse is rotated 40 degrees CW relative to the normal head-to-foot die orientation. Our grade is EF40. The attribution is noted on the PCGS Gold Shield label.

AUCTION TERMS OF SALE
1. The highest bidder acknowledged by the auctioneer shall be the buyer. In case of dispute the auctioneer may at his sole discretion reopen a lot. In all cases the auctioneer’s decision shall be final and binding on bidders.
2. The auctioneer reserves the right to refuse to honor any bid which, at his sole discretion, he feels is not submitted in good faith. The auctioneer may withdraw any lot, without prior notice, for any reason whatsoever.
3. All sales are payable in U. S. funds immediately upon receipt of invoice unless other arrangements have been made prior to the sale. Lots will not be released to buyers until paid for in full. Lots delivered in state of sale are subject to all applicable state and local taxes unless appropriate permits are on file with us.
4. Postage will be added to the invoice of all successful mail bidders.
5. A 20% buyer’s fee will be added to all invoices.
6. Please keep in mind this is not an approval sale. All sales are considered final. Sales to the floor may not be returned for any reason save authenticity. Sales to mail bidders are final unless lot proves to have been mis-described.
7. Lots will be available for viewing during the Houston Money Show bourse hours January 17, 2020 and by appointment.
