Frosty steel brown and light chocolate. The luster is subdued by a thin layer of oxidation and this cent has the look of a piece that has rested untouched in an envelope for many decades. The only marks are a couple specks of dark crud on the cheek and brow. MDS, Grellman state d, with a series of tiny rim cuds or crumbling in the dentils from star 1 to below the date. There is a fine double profile on the top of the coronet and on stars 5-7. Our grade is EF45. The attribution and Newman Collection provenance are noted on the special NGC label.Certificate: 2046438-022Pedigree: Ex Eric P. Newman Collection-Eric P.
