Lustrous medium steel brown with slightly darker olive brown toning before the face. The fields are satiny and there are peeps of mint red in recesses on the portrait. There is very little actual wear on this cent but the strike along the top of the portrait is a bit weak, as often seen on this variety. The only notable mark is a rather obvious planchet void on the rim at the second A in AMERICA. E-MDS with very fine radial die flowlines in the fields near the dentils. There is an obvious double profile from the forehead down to the chin with additional doubling on the lower stars, and traces of a third profile show on the lips, chin, and stars 11 & 12. Our grade is EF45+. The attribution and Twin Leaf Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label.
