Frosty light brown and tan with slightly darker steel brown toning on the highpoints. The surfaces are satiny but unfortunately there are tiny splashes of darker olive brown toning (not carbon) at stars 12 & 13 and four small spots of similar toning on the reverse. These all catch your eye. The most notable of these spots is under the N in ONE and it does contain a faint trace of reddish roughness in its center. There are a few minor contact marks including a small nick between star 2 and the lips and two more left of star 9. E-MDS with a fine die crack on the obverse, but the radial crack right of star 9 has not formed. All of the stars show double or triple outlines from machine doubling. Graded EF40 net VF25 and tied for CC#8 in the Noyes census, his photo #38847. Our grade is EF45+ net EF40. The attribution and COL Ellsworth Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS Gold Shield label.
