Glossy uniform light chocolate brown. Smooth and very attractive with only trivial contact marks. The notable marks are a faint diagonal hairline scratch on the cheek, a diagonal nick at the right point of star 2, and two dull nicks over the O in ONE. None of these marks is distracting and the eye appeal is excellent for a mid-grade cent. Graded VF25 net VF20 and tied for CC#6 in the Noyes census, his photo #21527. Our grade is VF25. Comes with a nice provenance. The attribution and COL Ellsworth Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS Gold Shield label.
