Choice lustrous medium brown and steel with tiny peeps of faded mint color showing on both sides. Excellent eye appeal and only a few trivial marks. The notable ones are a microscopic planchet flake near the dentils over star 5 and two specks of darker toning under the ribbon end. MDS. Called MS63 and tied for CC#4 honors in the Noyes census, his photo #56023. Our grade is MS63 as well. A beautiful cent that comes with an important provenance. The attribution and COL Ellsworth Collection provenance are noted n the PCGS Gold Shield label.
