Choice lustrous mint red fading to light olive brown and steel with more than a third of both sides showing bright mint red. Just a few trivial marks including a spot of slightly darker toning at the end of the bust, some fine carbon on the rim below the end of the wreath ribbon, and a speck of carbon at the top of the first A in AMERICA. Neither mark is distracting and this piece has outstanding eye appeal. LDS, Manley state 3.0, Fuhrman state 3, with a strong die crack at TE in STATES down into the wreath plus a fine die crack from the dentils over star 7 to the hair above the L. Our grade is MS64. Housed in an older generation PCGS slab.
