Very attractive frosty light to medium brown. Satiny mint luster covers the fields and this cent has great eye appeal. Just a hint of friction on the highpoints and a few minor marks. The notable marks are a spot of darker brown toning on the end of the bust, a similar splash connecting stars 7 & 8, and a faint puff of reddish brown toning at star 5. E-MDS. The obverse fields are smooth, just starting to show fine radial flowlines at the dentil tips, and the die is uncracked. The E in CENT is weak, as usual. A very nice example of this rather tough variety, and it comes with an important provenance. Our grade is EF40+, very close to EF45. The attribution and Twin Leaf Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label.
