Frosty mix of dark chocolate and lighter brown. There is a trace of wear on the highpoints and a few minor marks including a shallow planchet flake in the dentils under the first 1, two small digs on the chin, and a horizontal nick over the nostril. LDS with a cud break at TES, and the top of that S is filled. Fine die rust shows on the reverse and there is minor crumbling at the dentil roots left of the lower half of star 2. Our grade is AU50. The attribution and COL Ellsworth Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS Gold Shield label.

AUCTION TERMS OF SALE
1. The highest bidder acknowledged by the auctioneer shall be the buyer. In case of dispute the auctioneer may at his sole discretion reopen a lot. In all cases the auctioneer’s decision shall be final and binding on bidders.
2. The auctioneer reserves the right to refuse to honor any bid which, at his sole discretion, he feels is not submitted in good faith. The auctioneer may withdraw any lot, without prior notice, for any reason whatsoever.
3. All sales are payable in U. S. funds immediately upon receipt of invoice unless other arrangements have been made prior to the sale. Lots will not be released to buyers until paid for in full. Lots delivered in state of sale are subject to all applicable state and local taxes unless appropriate permits are on file with us.
4. Postage will be added to the invoice of all successful mail bidders.
5. A 20% buyer’s fee will be added to all invoices.
6. Please keep in mind this is not an approval sale. All sales are considered final. Sales to the floor may not be returned for any reason save authenticity. Sales to mail bidders are final unless lot proves to have been mis-described.
7. Lots will be available for viewing during the Houston Money Show bourse hours January 17, 2020 and by appointment.
8. Mail bids, or phone bids will be accepted up through the day of the sale. Please direct email bids to kevin@indeetlib.com. All bids will be reduced. Lots will open at one increment above second highest mail/phone bidder. Bidding will proceed as competition dictates with the lot either selling to the floor or to the mail/web bidder at one increment above the second highest bid.
