Very attractive glossy medium brown. Smooth and choice with virtually mark-free surfaces. Great eye appeal for a well-worn cent. The strike is uneven with weakness at the bottom of the reverse and right side of the obverse, as always for the variety thanks to dies that were not in perfect axial alignment (the die faces were not parallel during the strike). Only a very few of this die variety have such nice surfaces.Certificate: Pedigree: Ex Denis W.
