Frosty medium steel brown with lighter brown and tan toning in protected areas. The surfaces are smooth and the only marks are a few very faint hairline scratches hidden under the attractive toning, strongest in the field off the chin. A cent with great eye appeal for the grade. MDS. Graded VF30 net VF25 in the Noyes census, his photos #34445 and 61628. Our grade is VF30. In the lower end of the condition census for this tough variety. The attribution and COL Ellsworth Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS Gold Shield label.
