Slightly glossy dark steel gray with a few small splashes of reddish brown on both sides, the largest at EN in CENT. There are unobtrusive traces of microscopic roughness on both sides. Overall the surfaces are decent for the grade in spite of the minor problems. There is a fine scratch from the nose down to the bust, but it is visible only with the aid of a glass. LDS with obvious sinking above the die crack at ATES. One of the nicer examples of a rare variety that unfortunately usually comes with significant surface problems. Our grade is net F12, at the lower end of the condition census for this rare variety. The attribution is noted on the PCGS label.
