Glossy tan and light olive blending to darker olive brown in protected areas. Satiny frost covers the fields and protected areas and the only marks are two puffs of darker reddish chocolate toning in the field before the portrait and some very faint brush lines on both sides. Softly struck (as usual for this variety) with just a bit of light friction on the highpoints. Terminal die state with all 5 of the "Wheelspoke" cracks from the rim into the wreath strong. In addition there is a die crack from the wreath to the left top of the C in CENT, a vertical crack down from the O in ONE through the upright of the E in CENT into the wreath below, and one more from the line below CENT into the leaves below the T in CENT. This die is essentially shattered; a neat die state. Graded EF45 by Noyes, his photo #20530. Our grade is EF45. Comes with a nice provenance. The attribution and Twin Leaf Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label.
