1828 N-7 R3 PCGS graded MS63 BrownLustrous light to medium brown and light olive with a few peeps of mellowed mint red remaining visible on the obverse. The surfaces are satiny and this cent has excellent eye appeal. Just a few microscopic marks including a few tiny planchet chips on the cheek and a collection of very light nicks between stars 11 & 12. Later die state, state b, with small lumps from die rust on both sides. The repunching between the 8 & 2 is clear. Graded MS61 and CC#4 for the variety in the Noyes census, his photo #24338. Our grade is MS60+.Certificate Number: 36892.63/30812869Pedigree: Ex C. French-T. Werner-George Ramont-C. Douglas Smith 6/1970-Lou DiLauro-Dr. Philip W. Ralls 5/1997-W. M.
