1828 N-5 R2 PCGS graded MS63 Brown, CAC ApprovedLustrous light brown with steel brown toning on the cheek and faded mint red in some protected areas on both sides. Sharp and satiny with radial lines in the stars and crisp dentils. Just a few marks including three dull dents on the jawline plus a speck of carbon under star 11. The marks on the jawline do catch your eye, but the eye appeal remains quite nice, a fact attested to by the CAC approval. The reverse is choice. MDS, die state b, with a fine die crack through the top of TED. Graded MS60 net AU50 and tied for CC#5 in the Noyes census, his photo #21788. Our grade is MS63 net MS60.Certificate Number: 36886.63/30812867Pedigree: Ex John P. Young, Barney Bluestone 9/1945:733-James A. Stack, Sr.-Bowers & Ruddy 4/1979:21 (as MS63)-R. E.
