1828 N-3 R3 PCGS graded MS64+ Brown, CAC ApprovedLustrous light olive and brown with delicate overtones of sea-green and light bluish steel. Sharply struck with satiny surfaces and great eye appeal. All the stars have full radial lines. There is a small swipe of darker steel toning under star 8 and a wisp of similar toning in the field right of star 3. The only notable contact marks are a line of small ticks from the tip of the chin to the bust. The reverse is choice. MDS. The earlier arc line at the dentils at OF-A is gone but the dentils are strong. Graded MS60 and tied for CC#2 in the Noyes census, his photo #26940. Our grade is MS60+.Certificate Number: 36880.64+/30812865Pedigree: Ex Howard R. Newcomb, J. C. Morgenthau & Co., 5/16/1945:594-Floyd T. Starr, Stack's 6/13/1984:207-John J.
