1828 N-11 R2 PCGS graded MS64 Brown, CAC ApprovedChoice lustrous light olive and bluish steel with generous traces of faded mint red in protected areas, especially on the obverse. The fields are hard and slightly reflective, especially on the obverse, and this cent has superb eye appeal. The only notable marks, and they are barely visible, are a small nick mid-jawline and a faint hairline between star 5 and the forelock. EDS, die state a early, with the stray S left of the first S in STATES and the equally misplaced O in OF left of the proper O both clear. A wonderful cent. Graded MS60 and tied for CC#2 in the Noyes census, his photo #35908. Our grade is MS63.Certificate Number: 36901.64/30812873Pedigree: Ex Charles R. Mathewson-Emanuel Taylor 1960-R. E.
