1827 N-9 R3 PCGS graded AU55

The obverse is tan and light brown while the reverse is light to medium olive. The luster on both sides is diminished by a thin layer of natural oxidation. Sharply struck and free of roughness or verdigris, but there are many tiny contact marks on the obverse including a light diagonal scratch on the cheek and some ticks near the dentils at the right end of the date. MDS with the usual die cracks through the date and stars. Our grade is EF45 sharpness net VF35. The attribution is noted on the PCGS label.
