1827 N-7 R3 PCGS graded MS65 BrownLustrous light chocolate and bluish steel brown with a few hints of golden reddish tan faded down from mint color in protected areas. Satiny mint frost covers the planchet and the eye appeal is excellent. Only a few microscopic marks, including a tiny hairline between the date and star 13 and a small nick or pre-striking planchet mark close over the nostril. Nicely struck E-MDS, die state a, with traces of repunching visible on the 8 in the date and fine die flowlines covering the fields. The parallel dashes right of the second S in STATES are clear. Called MS65 Choice and tied for CC#1 in the Noyes census, his photo #20883. Bland says MS63 and tied for CC#1. Our grade is MS64.Certificate Number: 36856.65/25134950Pedigree: Ex Andrew C.
