1827 N-7 R3 PCGS graded MS65 BrownLustrous light chocolate and bluish steel brown with a few hints of golden reddish tan faded down from mint color in protected areas. Satiny mint frost covers the planchet and the eye appeal is excellent. Only a few microscopic marks, including a tiny hairline between the date and star 13 and a small nick or pre-striking planchet mark close over the nostril. Nicely struck E-MDS, die state a, with traces of repunching visible on the 8 in the date and fine die flowlines covering the fields. The parallel dashes right of the second S in STATES are clear. Called MS65 Choice and tied for CC#1 in the Noyes census, his photo #20883. Bland says MS63 and tied for CC#1. Our grade is MS64.Certificate Number: 36856.65/25134950Pedigree: Ex Andrew C. 2. The auctioneer reserves the right to refuse to honor any bid which, at his sole discretion, he feels is not submitted in good faith. The auctioneer may withdraw any lot, without prior notice, for any reason whatsoever.
3. All sales are payable in U. S. funds immediately upon receipt of invoice unless other arrangements have been made prior to the sale. Lots will not be released to buyers until paid for in full. Lots delivered in state of sale are subject to all applicable state and local taxes unless appropriate permits are on file with us.
