1827 N-5 R2 NGC graded MS63 BrownLustrous light greenish olive and steel brown with overtones of light bluish steel on the reverse. Very attractive with mint state eye appeal, but a glass reveals a light touch of rub on the very highest points of the devices. A small spot of lighter brown toning at the upper point of star 13 and a couple microscopic pinpricks close above the nostril can help identify this cent. M-LDS, die state c, with a die crack from the lowest curl down to the dentils below star 13. Graded MS60 by Bland. Noyes says MS60 and tied for CC#3, his photo #23206. Our grade is AU58+, very close to MS60.Certificate Number: 3728348-008Pedigree: Ex James R. McGuigan-Del Bland 5/12/1990-Dr. Philip W.
