1827 N-4 R2 PCGS graded MS64 Brown, CAC ApprovedFrosty light to medium steel brown with generous traces of mint red remaining visible in protected areas on both sides. Satiny and very attractive, virtually flawless. The best identifying marks are a microscopic tick on the jawline over the throat and a faint scuff right of the tick. Both marks are invisible to the unaided eye. M-LDS, die state b early, with some crumbling in the dentils at the bottom of the reverse. Graded MS65 and CC#1 in the Noyes census, his photo #29565. Our grade is MS63. Another very nice cent, and it comes with an equally nice provenanceCertificate Number: 36847.64/30821480Pedigree: Ex Milton A.
