Lustrous olive and steel brown with 10% of the obverse and most of the reverse showing mellowed red from an old cleaning. Looks choice Red & Brown mint state, and it was removed from a older generation PCGS holder graded MS63RB, label #1652.63/6270739. Just a couple trivial marks including a tiny tick in the center of the cheek and a spot of microscopic carbon at the right side of the first T in STATES. Later die state with crumbling in the dentils from CA to below the stem tip. Graded MS60 net AU50 by Noyes and tied for CC#9, his photo #34592. Our grade is net AU55. The attribution and COL Ellsworth Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS Gold Shield label.
