Frosty tan and light brown with darker steel brown toning covering the highpoints on the obverse. Satiny mint luster covers the protected areas. Looks mint state but a glass reveals a touch of friction on the highpoints and some contact marks. The only notable marks are a faint hairline scratch from below the eye down to the right corner of the mouth and a small scratch left of star 5. MDS. The fields are covered with fine die flowlines and the crumbling at the dentil roots from star 5 to star 6 that occurs in the earlier N-1 marriage is thin but visible. Our grade is AU50. The attribution and Holmes provenance are noted on the PCGS label.
