1826 N-5 R2 PCGS graded MS64 BrownLustrous bluish steel and light chocolate brown with 15-20% of the slightly faded mint color remaining on the obverse, while the reverse only has faint traces of faded mint color. A small, dull nick on the jawline near the earlobe, an extremely thin diagonal nick right of star 2, and a short horizontal hairline under star 12 are the only notable marks. This cent has excellent eye appeal. LDS, die state g, with rim cud breaks from below star 4 to star 7. Called MS65 choice and tied for CC#1 in the Noyes census, his photo #21163.
