1826 N-4 R2 PCGS graded MS64 Red & BrownLustrous mint red fading to light bluish steel brown and light chocolate on the highpoints, about a third of the mint color remaining on the obverse and half remaining on the reverse. A splash of lighter toning shows between star 11 and the hair bun. The notable defects area spot of fine carbon at the left top of the N in CENT, another on the right top of the M in AMERICA, and a third on the left side of that C. Otherwise this cent is essentially flawless, and it has great eye appeal in spite of the few spots. EDS, die state a, with crisp dentils around both sides. AUCTION TERMS OF SALE
1. The highest bidder acknowledged by the auctioneer shall be the buyer. In case of dispute the auctioneer may at his sole discretion reopen a lot. In all cases the auctioneer’s decision shall be final and binding on bidders.
2. The auctioneer reserves the right to refuse to honor any bid which, at his sole discretion, he feels is not submitted in good faith. The auctioneer may withdraw any lot, without prior notice, for any reason whatsoever.
3. All sales are payable in U. S. funds immediately upon receipt of invoice unless other arrangements have been made prior to the sale. Lots will not be released to buyers until paid for in full. Lots delivered in state of sale are subject to all applicable state and local taxes unless appropriate permits are on file with us.
4. Postage will be added to the invoice of all successful mail bidders.
5. A 20% buyer’s fee will be added to all invoices.
6. Please keep in mind this is not an approval sale. All sales are considered final. Sales to the floor may not be returned for any reason save authenticity. Sales to mail bidders are final unless lot proves to have been mis-described.
7. Lots will be available for viewing during the Houston Money Show bourse hours January 17, 2020 and by appointment.

Lots will open at one increment above second highest mail/phone bidder.
