Frosty steel brown and chocolate with lighter steel brown toning in protected areas on the reverse. Looks near mint state to the unaided eye, but a glass reveals light smoothing on the highpoints of the cheek and chin. Otherwise this cent is virtually flawless and the eye appeal is quite nice. M-LDS with a series of crumbles in the dentils and narrow rim cud breaks from star 5 to star 8. Graded AU50 net EF40 and tied for CC#11 in the Noyes census, his photo #22166. Bland says AU50. A variety that is difficult to find in high grades. Our grade is EF45. The attribution and Wyatt-Ahumada provenance are noted on the PCGS label.
