1826 N-1 R2 PCGS graded MS65 Brown, CAC ApprovedHighly lustrous brown and light chocolate with subtle overtones of light bluish steel. The surfaces are satiny and the only marks on an otherwise flawless cent are tiny wisps of darker toning around the date and lower stars and a couple more at STA, plus a barely visible struck-through line or pre-striking planchet mark at the nostril and upper cheek. Sharply struck slightly off center to K-8. MDS, die state b, with a rim cud break above star 6. Remnants of the misplaced star right of the date are mostly gone, only a single diagonal dash remaining. Called MS60+ and tied for CC#2 in the Bland census. AUCTION TERMS OF SALE
1. The highest bidder acknowledged by the auctioneer shall be the buyer. In case of dispute the auctioneer may at his sole discretion reopen a lot. In all cases the auctioneer’s decision shall be final and binding on bidders.
2. The auctioneer reserves the right to refuse to honor any bid which, at his sole discretion, he feels is not submitted in good faith. The auctioneer may withdraw any lot, without prior notice, for any reason whatsoever.
3. All sales are payable in U. S. funds immediately upon receipt of invoice unless other arrangements have been made prior to the sale. Lots will not be released to buyers until paid for in full. Lots delivered in state of sale are subject to all applicable state and local taxes unless appropriate permits are on file with us.
4. Postage will be added to the invoice of all successful mail bidders.
5. A 20% buyer’s fee will be added to all invoices.
6. Please keep in mind this is not an approval sale. All sales are considered final. Sales to the floor may not be returned for any reason save authenticity. Sales to mail bidders are final unless lot proves to have been mis-described.
7. Lots will be available for viewing during the Houston Money Show bourse hours January 17, 2020 and by appointment.

Lots will open at one increment above second highest mail/phone bidder.
