Frosty light olive and medium brown. Lustrous with satiny surfaces and great eye appeal. Virtually void of marks; a tiny speck of darker toning under the I in AMERICA the best way to identify this cent. Sharply struck EDS with strong double and triple profiles (from die bounce or "machine doubling") along the hair at the back of the portrait, on the lower edge of the bust, and on stars 7-11. The remnants of a misplaced star just right of the date are crisp. Called MS60 and tied for CC#2 in the Noyes census, his photo #21651. Bland says MS60 and tied for CC#6. Our grade is MS62. The attribution and Naftzger Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label.
