1825 N-10 R3 PCGS graded MS64 BrownFrosty bluish steel and light olive brown. The surfaces are satiny and lustrous, the strike is sharp, and this cent has really nice eye appeal. The only marks are a few microscopic ticks including a pair of light diagonal nicks left of the curl on the neck and a speck of dark crud hidden inside the bottom of the E in AMERICA. Nicely struck with only a couple of the stars not fully impressed. MDS, die state b, with a very fine die crack extending from the tip of the bust to the peak of the 1 and on to the dentils between the 1 and star 1. Called MS60+ and CC#1 in the Bland census of confirmed examples. Noyes says MS60 and CC#3 with only 3 mint state examples known, his photo #21062. Our grade is MS60+.Certificate Number: 36808.64/13072552Pedigree: Ex James G. Macallister-T. James Clarke 1954-R.
