Frosty light olive and brown with light chocolate brown toning on the right side of the obverse. The surfaces are satiny and nearly flawless but a glass reveals faint hairlines, mostly inside the wreath. The best identifying mark is a tiny speck of darker brown toning on the neck. MDS with fine radial flowlines in the fields. The earlier arc line between the bases of the second S in STATES and the adjacent O is gone. Graded MS60 and tied for CC#5 in the Noyes census, his photo #27550. Our grade is AU58+, very close to mint state (and it has solid mint state eye appeal). Comes with a very nice provenance. The attribution and COL Ellsworth Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS Gold Shield label.
