The obverse is frosty chocolate brown and steel; the reverse is mostly lighter brown with light chocolate on the devices. Satiny mint luster shows in protected areas and the eye appeal of this cent is quite nice. The best identifying mark, and it is barely visible with a glass, is a fine hairline scratch connecting stars 9 & 10. MDS, Grellman state a late. The inner circle on the obverse is weak but still visible in several places from star 1 to star 8. Our grade is EF45+. (The back of the holder is scratched.)
