1822 N-4 R2 PCGS graded MS63 BrownFrosty light steel brown with satiny mint luster covering the fields. There are a half dozen small splashes of dark olive toning on each side, especially on the obverse where a couple of these spots contain traces of fine carbon. In addition there are areas of reddish brown toning under star 9 and left of the O in ONE. Just a few trivial contact marks including a pinprick right of star 2 and a very fine hairline scratch from the reverse center dot to the left top of the T in CENT. E-MDS, die state a. The fields are smooth and slightly reflective and there are fine die clashmarks on the front edge of the throat and inside the wreath, but the crack from the bust tip has not formed. AUCTION TERMS OF SALE
1. The highest bidder acknowledged by the auctioneer shall be the buyer. In case of dispute the auctioneer may at his sole discretion reopen a lot. In all cases the auctioneer’s decision shall be final and binding on bidders.
2. The auctioneer reserves the right to refuse to honor any bid which, at his sole discretion, he feels is not submitted in good faith. The auctioneer may withdraw any lot, without prior notice, for any reason whatsoever.
3. All sales are payable in U. S. funds immediately upon receipt of invoice unless other arrangements have been made prior to the sale. Lots will not be released to buyers until paid for in full. Lots delivered in state of sale are subject to all applicable state and local taxes unless appropriate permits are on file with us.
4. Postage will be added to the invoice of all successful mail bidders.
5. A 20% buyer’s fee will be added to all invoices.
6. Please keep in mind this is not an approval sale. All sales are considered final. Sales to the floor may not be returned for any reason save authenticity. Sales to mail bidders are final unless lot proves to have been mis-described.
7. Lots will be available for viewing during the Houston Money Show bourse hours January 17, 2020 and by appointment.

Lots will open at one increment above second highest mail/phone bidder.
