Frosty tan and light brown with darker olive brown and steel puffs from star 6 around to star 13 plus similar toning on the right side of the reverse. The fields and protected areas are lustrous. This cent has mint state eye appeal but there is a trace of friction on the highpoints. Just a few minor contact marks including a tiny horizontal nick high on the cheek and a few light marks at the line below CENT. MDS. The dentils are sharp and the always present fine die crack down through star 7 reaches the jawline left of the ear lobe. Graded MS60 net AU50 and tied for CC#5 in the Noyes census, his photo #22430. Our grade AU55+, close to AU58. The attribution and COL Ellsworth Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS Gold Shield label.
